Teddy20 Supporting Children with Cancer is a charity based in Blandford Forum, Dorset. Our aim is to provide emotional and financial support to children and young people suffering and undergoing treatment for Cancer.

Teddy20 was set up in loving memory of our son, Ted Newton 1999 – 2010

The Big Yellow Bus Garden Project

This is just one of many projects that have been run by Equilibrium Youth Work, (also known as EQ), is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company developing and delivering quality support services for young people, in particular those that are ‘hard-to-reach’.

Today’s children and young people are facing unprecedented pressure both on and offline, as record numbers of young people are reported to suffer from mental health problems.

The Big Yellow Bus Garden project attempts to redress this growing issue at our three acre site in Okeford Fitzpaine, where children and young people come to engage with the land in a peaceful, relaxing environment, enjoying the beneficial properties that nature has to offer.

Diverse Abilities

Diverse Abilities is Dorset’s disability charity supporting children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities across the county since 1955.

Our mission is to enable children and adults with disabilities to achieve their full potential by providing a lifetime of sustainable support and educational services.

The Ranch

The Ranch envision a community in which all people have access to information and treatment that can help them improve their mental and emotional health by the therapy of animals and achieve harmony, promoting healthier families and communities. 

Although they are not a registered charity, they are trying to promote the mental and emotional health of individuals and families in Dorset  by providing professional, research-supported Animal Assisted And Equine therapy with the addition of rescued animals.

They would love to put any money towards a green gym area for our young people or wellies and waterproofs for young people to use that cannot afford them for when they are with us.
